God's Holy Spirit, Don't Live Without It!

The message today is out of Luke 17:20-37

· The Jews hoped God would send a messiah to free them from Roman occupation. They assumed this person would be an outwardly powerful, influential leader.

· They believed a visible manifestation of God’s power would be seen through this Messiah as he frees the Jews from Roman rule.

· But what did Jesus tell them about the Kingdom?

· How fast would it occur when Jesus, the real Messiah, comes back and establishes His Kingdom?

· We must ask ourselves: Are we living a life led by the Holy Spirit in the Word of God and prayer and living how He commands us? Are we living as citizens of the Kingdom of God but as aliens in this world?
